I can't put this video on this page because weebly won't let me use anything other than a youtube link to display it but anyway. I have to agree with a lot of what this woman (whoever she is) is saying about boys and education. I don't think it stands for just boys though, girls can be pretty disruptive in class too at times, even for kids with ADHD or similar conditions that inhibit concentration and alter behaviour. Teachers could learn a thing or two from this video

I've been following the blogilates beginner's work out calender this month and am now on day 5. I'm exercising to feel healthy and strong, I have also lost three pounds but that's not the main reason I exercise. It annoys me I have to justify why I am exercising with mí madre. People automatically assume if you exercise you are attempting to lose weight. I'm exercising because it is recommended that you exercise at least 30 mins a day because it reduces obesity and obesity related diseases like diabetes, cardiovascular problems, respiratory disorders and don't get me started on the link between physical and mental health. Endorphin's released during exercise help to boost your mood and motivation to do things during the day. There is a whole list of benefits for exercising, there are different types of exercise for different goals that you set. It's not all about losing weight.
Any who, rant over. I'm just enjoying exercising at the moment as I am starting to feel the benefits of being more active. Granted I need to eat a bit better (we can always improve) so I'm going to try and compile a list of student budget healthy food options. That's my next goal :) |
