Woohoooooo!!! I'm so excited guys!! Today's the launch date for Younique cosmetics opening their online doors (hypothetically speaking) lol I'm so excited to share this with you guys!! There are quite a few of you follow this blog which when I started doing this I never imagined there would be so many of you following me on a regular basis so thanks for that :) Our 3D fibre lash mascara is our most popular item at the moment 😜 Here is a picture of my lashes with it (yes I use it myself!! That's how much I love this brand) the left eye is the fibre lash mascara and the right eye is just regular drug store mascara The difference is amazing right???? This is £23 in the UK now it seems like a lot for mascara. But in the style of marks and spenders. This is no ordinary mascara... This is 3D fibre lash mascara and it has the ability to increase your lash volume by 300%. All natural ingredients made with green tea leaves!!? Pretty cool, huh?? Next is also one of my favourites at the moment. The Uplifting Eye Serum which is basically Botox in a bottle!!! Seriously cool! It is full of natural skin lipids, antioxidants, and vitamins. Thats great news for your skin! It also has a plumping effect that is amazing for your lips if you have tiny lips hehe :) it doesn't tingle either!! 😜 It's great for dark circles which I have a problem with particularly ATM :( This is my Halloween makeup from last night using younique products!! I dressed as Lara Croft and am pretty happy with the results!!! Looks awesome!!! 😃 So guys please continue to support me by viewing the website and buying from it! And if any of you are ever interested in hosting a party with me or joining my team please let me know! I have become a presenter for a cosmetic company called Younique and am so excited to share this with you. The first video is from our CEO's talking about the benefits of Younique and their mission statement. It isn't even 5 minutes long so don't be panicking! Here is another presenter in America doing a review! She's so upbeat and positive and really passionate about Younique and this is how I feel about Younique too If anyone is interested in making an order before the 1st of November please let me know as the 1st of November is the launch party!! :D woohoooo!!
First 3 to place an order will get a free mascara!! Hollaaaa!! :D :D Death isn't something that is talked about a lot in society. Because it is difficult to talk about something that most people believe is the end of this existence. But there is so much that needs to be said about death. But that's a conversation for another day.
I watched a video about "death with dignity" which is a law that is available to use should you fit the criteria in 5 states in America. Basically in the UK this is the equivalent to euthanasia. Watch the video for yourself to see how this affects this 29 year old woman. I have thought and will continue to forever think about this issue. If I was faced with it myself I think I could potentially take a similar route myself. However I would find choosing the timing to be a very difficult and emotional issue. This has provoked me to really think about the fragility of life. I'm faced with it a lot in nursing and it is something that I think about regularly. There were times in life where I thought to myself, "I need to live life to the fullest. Go sky diving, travel the world, meet new people, treasure the people who I value most in my life more. Start a career, envision my future." Forming a bucket list, if you will. But there are also days I really treasure that a lot of folk might see as "wasting your life" There are days I don't want to do exciting and adventurous things. I treasure Saturday or Tuesday nights where I watch Holby City or Casualty on TV with my mum and sister. I love those lazy evenings with my sister playing GTA. I love watching Netflix movies with boyfriend snuggling under cosy blankets eating Chinese food. I'm a firm believer in "quality of friends and not quantity". As a teenager I never understood this concept but now I am pretty sure I have a firm grasp on it now. I have acquaintances and people I know but only a handful of friends who are good friends, there for me during good times and the tough times. I don't need a whole lot of people around me to call them friends, and it's watching videos like this that really ring home to me. When I die, will half the people I called friends and was super close to in the last number of years be there for me when I am dying? Will they even be at my funeral? Very morbid topic, and if anyone brings it up they are accused of being depressed, boring or told "You must be tonnes of fun at parties" but sometimes talking about difficult things like this is important. I seem to fall off the fitness wagon every once in a while, something in life always gets in the way of my routine. This year has been really big for me; nanny passing away, exams, assignments, holidays, placements, assessments, job as health care assistant, and now have accepted my first job as a nurse so that will be a big change in the next coming months. I figured that if I try and keep a very loose and flexible goal in relation to fitness I will definitely be able to fit it in somehow. One of my new years resolutions this year was to get more of a fitness routine going. Go to the gym at least once a week, work out at home 3 times a week. I realise that this goal is a bit unrealistic when money is tight at times, and trying to do shift patterns that don't always abide by social and normal society hours. So I am adjusting that new years resolution to be more realistic for me and my lifestyle, without compromising too much. I want to go to the gym every other week, but I also want to try and do 2 Youtube fitness/pilates/yoga videos a week (follow me on Pinterest). I won't plan a schedule or anything but I definitely want to try on my days off to get stuck in and do a work out, even just ten minutes that day minimum, depending on how busy life is and how tired I am etc. I still want to work on my flexibility, so will still try and keep to my September calender but just basically pick the days I can work out according to my work rota. Trying to do a workout every day was more than unrealistic. At the moment I am working such strange hours that are all over the place and it makes it difficult to pick up where I left off on my mat and just do a work out as I am literally coming home, getting a shower, eating food and going to bed. Although in saying that the ward I am working on at the moment really is like a huge work out at times lol!! I have to say I haven't let myself down or anything really with this new years resolution. I have been quite good fitness-wise this year. But there are just those times in life where there is not enough hours in the day nor energy to try and work out. I've purposely taken time off work this coming week so as I have time to fully recover from this viral throat thing and can be a bit healthier. I've even tried to eat more of a vegetarian diet at the moment to see if this can help me feel more rested and more refreshed. So far I've been waking up on my days off at around 8am, which I never normally do so I can't help but think that this vegetarian diet is helping my sleeping pattern too. But will make more of an effort starting today. So new adjusted goal is - Work out twice a week at home using Youtube videos - Go to gym once every 2 weeks. I'm on a 1-9 shift today and just did this 10 minute pilates workout for the core. |
