I discovered Dani Spies on Youtube last night! Woman Crush Wednesday can't come quick enough!! :D :D I found a recipe on tumblr for how to make Almond milk but lost it when I refreshed the page. So I youtubed it and found Dani Spies! Oh... My... Life!!! Yummy doesn't even cover it!! Kinda strange taste at the start but eventually you get used to it and it is gorgeous, especially the after taste!! :D :D Here's how I did it. First of all, I got almonds *Round of applause!!* lmao!! You can get them for £1 in Tesco or somewhere! :D I soaked them in water for one night. Then in the morning I drained the water, put the almonds into a blender/smoothie maker and added four cups of water to it. In Dani Spies recipe she used vanilla extract, which we have just fresh ran out of :( *cries cries* So I used a spoon full of honey and a pinch of salt Then I blended it until it is a smooth (ish) consistency. Obviously you're gonna get the shells and some pulp, but we'll deal with that soon enough. In Dani Spies tutorial she used cheese paper (kinda looks like gauze) I wasn't thinking straight this morning, and instead of using gauze I used a colander and a sieve to drain the milk from the pulp. Which I think kinda worked just as well :D But if you have any gauze or cheese paper lying about the house try using it. To make sure I got the most out of the pulp milk. I squeezed it with some kitchen roll to try and drain out the last of the milk still lingering. KEEP THE PULP! It's full of protein and apparently you can either grill it as a tasty snack or make pancakes with it! Which is what I am going to do now! :D
Anyways, Pour the milk from the bowl into a jar or some kinda and store in the fridge. I poured it on my crunchy nut cereal and had some in my tea and man it was delish!! :D Try it yourself!! Don't forget to share! :D xx

Pretty sure I've posted about this before! But I think it's worth watching again! It's always good to remind ourselves the difference between the two. https://www.youniqueproducts.com/RachLilley/party/882046/view
Here's some of our really popular items price list! :D Please check out the party link and buy something lovely for yourself! :D You deserve it this Christmas! :D Or even buy a collection for someone you love this year! My favourite one is the £77 one, it's supposed to be £94 but it's cheaper when you buy a collection! :D Bargain! If we're all honest, there are a lot of things we would like to do but fear holds us back. I am a very nervous person, ask any of my friends. I worry about how my intentions of something I say are good but it can be misinterpreted by someone. I worry about how I make people feel as a result of this. etc. I also worry that because a lot of the time I am a happy go lucky kinda person who sometimes doesn't take life too seriously to most people that I come across as quite ... immature? Or my words are not worth listening to. But I am. Saw this tonight, and it reminded me that in order for others to take me seriously about things that I love. I need to take myself seriously first. In order for my ability to take myself seriously I need to meditate more and focus on my inner ambitions, what I want. Question why I worry so much that people won't take me seriously.
Short entry. That is all. Goodnight. |
