Everyone secretly loves getting a bargain. But we for some reason hate talking about it when it comes to splashing out for a wedding.
I ask the question, why does it matter if you saved a few bob on your wedding dress cause you got it in a sample sale? Why does it matter if you scored yourself a deal on the mens suits? What does it matter if your flowers aren't real but look absolutely stunning and unique? At the end of the day, this wedding is about you and your significant other. It shouldn't matter if you got an amazing bargain on different aspects of your wedding. In fact if anything it is probably more sensible to get a good deal on things and save money where you can. Because at the end of the wedding day you are living with this person in sickness and in health, for richer or for poorer. It is one day of your life. Yes it should be special, but special doesn't necessarily mean spend all of your life savings and then some; on one day of your life. When you could be using that money to do things as a couple that you've always wanted to do. Buy a house, travel the world, maybe start a family (Cause goodness knows you need money for an ever growing child) Thus leading me nicely on to my next point. Here are some things I have pinned on my pintrest board titled "Ideas for Someday" on how you could save money on your big day. I hope these are helpful to you if any of you are planning a wedding and are struggling to keep things within a budget with pressure mounting from everywhere and everyone that you have to spend more than a certain amount on your wedding.
