I have heard that there are many benefits if coconut oil. Great for cooking with as it boosts metabolism, good for skin and hair etc. So I decided tonight to have a go and see if it does wonders for your hair :) First off, wash your hair. What I normally do after I am out of the shower is brush my hair and put a tiny drop of argon oil in my hair ends and ruffle my hair slightly, so don't be over generous with the argon oil otherwise you'll have sticky greasy looking hair. This protects the hair from heat when you blow dry your hair I blow dry my hair till it is only slightly damp then I use the smallest spec of coconut oil and an even smaller spec of cider vinegar because I've heard that it is good for hair too. In that picture there is too much coconut oil. That's how small we are talking. What you want to do is dab your forefingers in the oil, and that is all you use. Tousle from the ends then move your way up to the top of your hair. If you have oily prone hair avoid the roots. Next we blow dry until hair is 100% dry ^_^ This is the aftermath of me blow drying my hair hahahaha Anyway, now we brush then we style, whatever way you do you hair, do it :) And there we go. My hair has a nice smell of coconut that isn't overpowering. I'm going to try and do this at least once a week. Because coconut oil can be very expensive lol. This hairstyle I straightened the top end and curled the straighteners inwards when I got to the bottom ends. You can leave it like that or comb them to give a nice polished look. Try it yourself and see what you think. You can just use coconut oil you don't have to use cider vinegar. Good luck :)
