Mike Adams Health Journalist and Author in documentary called "hungry for change"
"Combining indoor sedementry lifestyle with poor diet then you've got a disaster. Way too many calories, not enough nutrients and not enough use of those calories " David Wolfe nutritionist in the same documentary "Those particular factors when combined together contribute to an obesity epidemic, low energy epidemic, fog in cognition, people begin to lose the will to take self responsibility so then they turn it all over to a doctor who will prescribe something pharmaceutical pill which doesn't address the real problem. There's a post I saw going around Facebook for a long time. It says "vegetarians typically live up to 9 years longer than the regular meat eater... 9 long bacon less years" a cheap joke to say the least. But what people don't realise is that this kinda joke is for a lot of people the foundation of some people's beliefs. In that they think life isn't worth living if they don't have meat and dairy. People forget that quality of life is important and whether you want to admit it or not, quality of death is important too. 1) quality of life Yes you may be fine now. But what about when down the road in your life you get a diagnosis of cancer. (Since bacon and other kinds of meat is a known carcinogen according to the WHO) You're gonna spend that time in the doctors office in a daze when the doctor tells you "how did this happen? I'm a healthy person. I don't understand. Why me?" Your significant other and or family will be thinking "how can we do this? What about the kids? Work? Money? We can afford to live on sick pay" Going through chemo is no walk in the park either. You're gonna feel drowsy all the time. You're gonna feel like shit, gain weight, possible hair loss. It'll lower your immune system in order to diminish the cancerous tumour in your body. And if you get as such as a cold. It can easily turn into pneumonia... You know pneumonia... The old persons disease of the lungs? If you have so much as a chest infection they have to delay your chemo treatment because it'll reduce your body's ability to fight the chest infection you have. And yet we live in this delusional society that thinks we are healthy... Based on what? My mum and dad think that they are healthy. Wanna know how much vegetables they have in a day? One portion of carrots and one ladle of peas. Dad maybe has two. Now how that is supposed to build your immune system I don't know. But my parents are not the only ones that think this. Call me hippy dippy but the way I see it is. If you ingest suffering, your body will create suffering. 2. quality of death Whether you like it or not. We are all gonna die. And some may say "well if we are all gonna die what is the point in trying to be healthy?" But there in that lies the answer to me. The point is quality of life and death. If you continue to eat meat, dairy and eggs. Your body will shut down. You increase your risk of obesity, developing diabetes, cancer, and other co-morbidities that are linked to obesity *FAT SHAMER ALERT* haters gonna hate I have nursed people dying from preventable diseases. Who haven't been educated, nor have cared what they put in their word hole. Who have been awaiting their treatment to work for their adult onset diabetes meanwhile drinking a bottle of coke. People who have had multiple cardiac events and still won't eat healthier. That could be to do with the fact that they aren't given the tools they need to take that step. But it also can be related to will power. Would you rather live a healthy life, being fit, completely switched on cognitively; with a reduced risk of developing dementia. Being able to spend time with your family. Having a strong immune system. Or would you rather develop completely preventable diseases. Reduce your risk of developing diseases that can be hereditary and die a slow and painful death? Your decision
