Why is it that people when they find out that a clothing line is made from sweat shops. People will be shocked and prepared to "shun" that clothing line as they don't want to contribute to that indecency and cruel treatment. No one bats an eyelid. But when you suggest that they're contributing to the murder of innocent beings; everyone loses their minds?
Let's make a comparison list between sweat shops and the slaughter of innocent animals Sweat shops 1. Unnecessary harm of workers. Industrial related injuries 2. Cramped conditions/ poor working conditions. Slaughter houses 1. Unnecessary harm of animals (there is no need to kill animals for the poor excuse for nutrition to the average person) 2. Cramped conditions particularly in factory farming and slaughter houses. Why is it easy to see that when your buying clothes from a company that supports the inhumane treatment of people in order to produce a cheap product you're supporting that industry. But when you pay the butchers or the supermarket for the animal muscles, skins and tendons. The "I'm not supporting the murder of animals" defence kicks in? Someone please explain to me how this doesn't make any sense? We don't need to eat animal flesh in order to be healthy, maintain nutrition etc. There is no need for the general public to consume dead carcass. There is another way however... Eat plants Now don't give me that "oh but plants have feelings too" bull shit cause you and I both know that neither of us really believe that. There's so much you can eat. Fake meat Lasagne Hash browns Fry ups Stir fries Cakes Curries Indian food Thai food Mexican food Chinese food Potato and broccoli bakes Pasta Fajitas Burritos And these are just some of the ones that popped into my head!! There's a vast amount of foods available to eat Give it a try. You'll feel so much better for it
